Spring is on the way
Here we are at the end of February with some early signs of spring around the corner. We've been busy planning our year ahead, collaborating on some bespoke projects and readying for upcoming fairs and trade shows. We've also been developing new patterns and products - our favourite thing of all. Juggling family life alongside a new business always keeps us on our toes and in our bid to get things done we've found an alarming number of our meetings have taken place behind the boot of our cars as we try and fit in a visit to a supplier or a show in with discussing product development or attempt to conduct business alongside entertaining children on half term or off from school.
Our workshops for this year have begun too and the feedback has been great. If you want to try your hand at block printing with us, check out our new dates at The Old Rectory in Bletchingley. This place is such a gem - the house and grounds are such a sight to behold - you could not have a more picturesque setting in which to get your creative juices flowing! We are working on offering more venues too near Henley Upon Thames and in London. Keep looking at our Workshops section on our website where you can book your printing day online.
Next week from the 23rd of February we will be at the RHS Botanical Fair in London demonstrating block printing techniques and offering taster sessions. We have a large collection of botanical blocks to suit the gardening enthusiasts out there!
Later in the year we will be at Pulse at Kensington Olympia on 14 - 16th May and at Country Homes and Interiors summer fair, their first London show at the Design Centre 1-3rd June. Barnes Fair - a not to be missed - large village fair is on our calendar too for the 8th July.
Trudi's husband Guy has been taking lots of pictures to update the website and we've been adding to our Instagram feed to show the different ways in which our home accessories can be displayed or put to use.
Hope everyone has had a good start to 2017, roll on the longer days, the patches of blue sky and glimmers of spring. Hurry up crocuses!
