Botanical Wall Hanging Block Printing Workshop and Lunch

Your day starts with Trudi of Yateley Papers with a Q & A session while enjoying morning coffee or tea. We will then move to meander around the beautiful Updown garden to draw inspiration, taking some photos or quick sketches as reference for your wall hanging.
 
Then your day begins and Trudi will be on hand throughout the Workshop to demonstrate, offer guidance and advice. Choosing from Yateley's large collection of authentic wooden blocks and a wide choice of colours you will print and create your own unique masterpiece – it will be a one-off wall hanging to take home with you and show off with pride!

We will break at approx 2 pm for a delicious light 3-course lunch.
 
Please bring/wear appropriate footwear (suitable for garden meandering). This is not a day for your Sunday Best, although our paints are water-based and sustainable, it can get a tad mucky! There will be aprons supplied which for a small cost can also be taken home.

Please let us know if you’d like to combine the workshop with an overnight stay, there are plenty of Airbnb’s and a few delightful hotels a short stroll away, there are plenty of lovely eateries to choose from (tried & tasted!) and any excuse to meander the award winning Deal High Street, not to mention the wonderful coastline with Deal and Walmer Castle within close vicinity.

You will leave with your fabulous crackers complete to adorn your table and totally WOW your guests or you will be armed with the knowhow and all materials to complete at home after you have included your chosen personalised gifts - or feel free to bring them with you NB the diameter needs to be under 6cm.
